SYSTEM SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

VB/VBA Programming / Database

- Create new program and modify existing programs using VB or VBA.
- AS/400 and SQL server database management.

Hardware Support

- Entry level PC hardware and software as well as LAN troubleshooting, installation, and support.
- Barcode printer configuration and troubleshooting.

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

- Serves as primary EDI contact.
- Setting up new partner and data mapping.

Qualification:

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in areas outlined in the job responsibilities
- Can speak, write, and communicate in business English and Japanese preferred
- 2 plus years experience, either in Japan or USA corporate level required
- Excellent customer-focused interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and on several assignments simultaneously.
- Good personal management skills and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
- Must have own transportation
